Riley Defeis, PT, DPT
Riley DeFeis received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Saint Joseph’s University in 2025. He is adamant that a variety of orthopedic and spinal conditions must be managed with the individual in mind, taking into account the specific activities patients are looking to return to. He believes that if the therapist does not create personalized exercise programs for each individual, there will be no true benefit for the patient themselves.
Riley has a vested interest in athletic populations from a long career as a soccer player and currently undertaking golf as a hobby himself, and believes that athletes need sport-specific training in order to return to full-performance. He also has an interest working with individuals suffering from chronic impairments as a result of Stroke, and was part of research teams through Graduate school that measured different modes of treatment on improving functionality in individuals following Stroke.
In his spare time Riley finds different ways to relax through hiking, golfing, reading, cooking, and walking his dog Charlie.
